Abstract

The cult phenomena of Russian civilization are distinguished by their originality, embodied by the Russian idea. The Russian idea is a concept, a national dream of a happy and fair society. Value settings - collectivism and internationalism with a condemnation of egoism and nationalism, faith and mercy, the priority of morality in relation to the ethics of utilitarianism. Hence the specifics of the cult phenomena of Russian art. As a concept, the dream acquires the character of a project, goal-setting, making Russian history teleological, because it affects not only the mentality, but the social structure. The Russian idea is a unique combination of value settings, mental characteristics, traditions, customs and power structure. The peculiarity of power is the priority of the state in relation to the individual, which determines the features of art and social Progress, the priority of large projects: system industrial design associated with fundamental science. Russian mentality is a combination of Western rationalism and Eastern passions, becomes the creative basis of spiritual and technical achievements of civilization.
