Abstract
The article is devoted to the results of the critical analysis of sociological literature, which examines various aspects of social behavior of students of the Rostov region. Scientists have already paid attention to external and internal factors of behavior, social practices, models, types, causes and characteristics of social behavior of students in educational, political, civil, legal, leisure and health fields. The critical analysis of scientific literature allowed to draw the conclusion that features of social behavior of student youth of the Rostov region weren't studied in comparison with other regions of Russia, results of existing sociological researches have fragmentary character, the special emphasis is placed on empirical data and there is no complete sociological theory explaining the reasons of social behavior of student youth.
