Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of research practices on the environmental safety of a modern city. The author notes that this issue has an interdisciplinary nature, some aspects of which are covered in various subject areas of scientific knowledge. The tools of social philosophy are proposed as a methodological basis for interdisciplinary integration.
