Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the embeddedness of the international migration flow in the demographic situation of the Rostov region. The main characteristics of the international migration flow in the Rostov region are considered. It has been established that, in general, the international migration flow is built into the existing demographic situation of the region and contribute to its reproduction. It is concluded that migration can only be used as an auxiliary tool of demographic policy.
