Abstract
Islamist terrorism has long become a global problem. By initiating terrorist activity in different regions of the world, and, essentially, creating terrorist networks, the ideologists of globalization thereby create the prerequisites for interference in the affairs of many countries.
From the very beginning of the 1990s, the North Caucasus has been a region through which the West, primarily the United States, is trying to exert geopolitical pressure on Russia.
Every year, hundreds of young people who are in a spiritual search, looking for meanings and ideological foundations, are involved in the ranks of the so-called Islamic underground, with external support continuing its activity in the North Caucasus.
Response preventive actions on the part of the authorities, although they have a serious effect on minimizing the activity of adherents of radical Islamism and their terrorist networks, are, as a rule, focused exclusively on coercive and administrative, prohibitive and restrictive measures. At the same time, a complex problem cannot be solved without work in the field of semantic and ideological space.
The article outlines some methods of influencing the semantic and informational environment; the mechanisms for carrying out an ideological response to the activities of Islamist recruiters are described, methods of organizing work to stop the unilateral and non-alternative impact of Islamist preachers on various social groups are proposed; the necessity and methods of creating crowded out content and stopping Islamic propaganda argumentation are described. The methods of work of the media and their editions aimed at solving this problem are described.
