Abstract
The article analyzes the military ethos as a structural component of modern culture, represented in various social practices, including those that go beyond military service. In this regard, we examined the socio-cultural and existential aspects of the military ethos formation, which are responsible for the formation of a strong-willed personality, and the role of the military ethos in the production system of stabilizing patterns of culture and social solidarity in the context of the introduction of innovative technologies taking place against the background of professionalization and legal support of military activity is explicated. The author concludes that the military ethos continues to play an important role in the process of socialization not only of the military, but also of government and the patriotic education of youth.
