Abstract
The purpose of the study is the highlighting the factors of transformation student youth political culture.
The methodological basis of the research compiled an approach to the study of types of political culture by G. Almond and S. Verba. The main provisions of the analysis were studying the motives for political activity, performance and practices of youth participation.
Research results. Factors for the formation of the political culture of student youth in modern Russia have been determined. Including change of traditional socialization agents to new forms of translating values and meanings; the practice of mobilizing for participation through modern information technologies; destructive strategy of influence of foreign agents in messengers.
Prospects of the study. It seems important to determine ways to solve the problem of destructive mobilization of Russian student youth in instant messengers. The study of mechanisms for effective political participation and methods for stimulating active civic creativity will contribute to the search for technologies for developing the political culture of youth.
