Abstract

Objective of the study is to identify the subject aspects that have attracted the attention of sociologists when studying international migrants in the Rostov region. The methodological basis of the research compiled an analysis of sociological international migrants through the framework of study, set through the decomposition of international migrants as an object of study into characteristics, structure, functions, types. The aspects of the interaction of international migrants with the host community as with the social environment in which they find themselves are also highlighted. Research results. The main groups of studies in which international migrants were studied are highlighted: labor migrants, educational migrants, factors of integration of international migrants into the receiving community, the relationship between international migrants and the receiving community. Possible areas of sociological study of international migrants in the Rostov region have been identified, which can be updated with the help of sociological research methods that directly affect the object of research. Prospects of the study. The conclusions of the article can be used by other researchers to determine their own subject field in the study of international migrants in the Rostov region, purposes and objectives.
