Abstract

Objective of the study is to identify the relationship of national being with the global, to reveal the essence of the national as a deep, immanent content both in a separate subject and in national culture. The methodological basis of the research. The article uses analytical, comparative and historical-genetic research methods. Research results. The article analyzes the possibility of self-determination of national culture in the world, taking into account the understanding of the nation as a natural and social phenomenon unfolding in world history. Based on the presented material, the authors show the reversal of philosophical thought from a simple and superficial view of globalization as just a mechanical and inescapable self-determination of society, to understanding its dependence on national culture and identity, leading to the unity of the world spirit. Prospects of the study. We see further investigation of the problem of identifying the national in socio-historical existence in a more detailed and expanded consideration of modern philosophical concepts.
