Abstract

Objective of the study. To consider the activities of regional youth public associations as an important resource influencing the consolidation of modern Russian society. The methodological basis of the research. The following approaches were used in the study: resource, value and activity approaches. Research results. In this paper, the consolidation of Russian society is presented as a process of integration of the population of the country on the basis of the values and goals of the development of society that are equally important to citizens. The resources that can serve to consolidate Russian society include: traditional spiritual and moral values, accumulation of cultural and historical experience, opposition to risky situations, civic activity. One of the types of civic activity can be attributed to the activities of youth organizations. Youth public associations are actively developing in Russia, where a large number of young people interested in developing the intellectual, creative and professional potential of the country become members. Thanks to the participation of young people in the activities of youth public associations, more and more active, conscious citizens will appear in society who strive for their own development and contribute to the prosperity of the state by broadcasting equally important values and goals for the development of society. Prospects of the study are related to further research of existing all-Russian and regional resources for the consolidation of Russian society.
