Abstract
Objective of the study is a brief overview of the most significant philosophical approaches to creativity, highlighting key problems related to the topic of creativity, such as: an ontological question involving secular and religious-mystical interpretations of creativity, as well as the problem of the complex connection of rational and non-rational moments in creativity.
The methodological basis of the research consists of historical-philosophical and comparative approaches, as well as the method of problematization, since the article compares different versions of the interpretation of the "sources of creativity" and these versions themselves are interpreted as an open problem that has not yet had a final solution and remains open.
Research results is the disclosure of the content of the secular and religious-mystical interpretation of the origins of creativity, where in the secular philosophical interpretation the emphasis is placed on the specifics of human cultural activity, and in the religious one – on the figure of God as a transcendent principle that creates people themselves. The article also reveals, in relation to the topic of creativity, various interpretations of the ratio of rational and non-rational in the inner world of a person. They are summarized by the author in the allocation of three models: 1. level, 2. focused on the complementarity of the two principles of the inner world and 3. symbolic, referring to the continuity of the idea.
Prospects of the study. The author sees great prospects in the development of the analyzed topic, since each of the noted plots, despite the abundance of well-known authors, is essentially at the stage of versions and hypothetical sketches, which only indicate different optics of seeing the topic of creativity. The approaches of constructivism are promising for development, within the framework of which a certain synthesis of secular and religious-mystical approaches is possible.
