Abstract

Objective of the study is to reveal the integration and harmonizing potential of the types of ecophilic behavior in the super region of Southern Russia. The methodological basis of the research. To solve research problems, the main methodological tool was the construct of correlating social and natural reality as a factor in justifying people's responsibility for ensuring the organic integrity of the biosphere, which was founded by V.I. Vernadsky (Vernadsky, 1988).The importance of its use drew the attention of the funder of a comprehensive study of the problems of the region Yu.A. Zhdanov in the work “The State-continent” (Zhdanov, 2014. P. 159). For the South of Russia, the possibility of using this approach fits into the specifics of the algorithm of interaction of ethnic groups living here, which reproduces the pattern of the endless transition from their “positive polarization” as socio-cultural subjects to the state of “negative polarization” and vice versa (P. A. Sorokin's terms, 1997. Pp. 200–230). Research results. Under the conditions of the impact of polyvector ethno-confessional factors, first of all, on the youth of the South of Russia, which determines the formation of mental constructs of different semantic content in the minds of its representatives, the institutions of power and civil society of the region have the opportunity to use the creative potential of all types of ecophilic behavior of its ethnic groups to nurture the younger generation of creators of an eco-friendly socio-economic way of life.   Prospects of the study. The research topic seems relevant in the light of the implementation of the strategic goal of ecological technological renewal of the domestic society.
