Abstract

Objective of the study is based on the analysis of Yu. A. Zhdanov's research and practical activities, to show the development of science, production and culture in Russia. The methodological basis of the research is based on the scientific developments of Yu. A. Zhdanov, personal archival data of the authors, memoirs of colleagues and students. Research results. For Yuri Andreevich Zhdanov, the results of scientific activity have always been aimed at implementation in production activities, as well as at improving social reality and cultural development. This interrelation of science and practice formed a single process of progressive development of the system of socialism in the USSR. Prospects of the study. The laid scientific foundation of Yu. A. Zhdanov's humanitarian education should be preserved, and today it can serve for the development of humanism as a whole.
