Abstract

Objective of the study is to analyze the socio-political situation and the trust of local authorities, the influence of a multiethnic society on the consolidation of society and interaction with migrants, attitude to a special military operation. The methodological basis of the research includes the method of qualitative analysis of documentary sources, the method of statistical analysis of the collected material, the method of formalized interviews. Research results. The analysis of the data obtained showed that the ethnopolitical situation in Crimea is ambiguous. The consequences of a special military operation, economic crisis phenomena, a decline in the standard of living, conflict situations among representatives of interethnic groups, uncontrolled migration, dissatisfaction with the actions of local authorities all have the greatest impact on the level of social tension on the peninsula. The flow of migrants angered some residents of the peninsula "receiving benefits and assistance." Taking advantage of this situation, external forces seek to undermine and manipulate the unstable part of the Crimean population, using them for extremist purposes. Prospects of the study. Regular monitoring of the situation and analysis of factors will make it possible to monitor and control interethnic relations, consolidate civil society, identify risk groups in relation to extremism and terrorism, and involve groups of the Crimean public in preventing, preventing and countering extremist sentiments that may entail acts of terrorism. The results obtained will help to model and, if necessary, adjust the directions of the internal policy of the Republic of Crimea.
