Abstract
The article deals with the main trends of Internet users’ behavior in Volga Federal District in the conditions of the social and economic crisis which is deemed as a positive circumstance enhancing the development of social medium in a separate region. The Wordstat Yandex online service was used for the analysis of dynamics of use of keywords reflecting factors of the human capital buildup during the period from 2014 to 2016. From the general scope of search queries, data on the certain region - Volga Federal District - were selected. On the basis of the obtained data on how the population perceives social and economic changes in this region, four crisis periods were identified. It has been established that the conditions of social risks give rise to the creation of the positive human capital engaging internal personal resources to overcome difficult external conditions. On the basis of the analysis of search queries, dependence between users’ online behavior and development of a crisis situation in the region was established. In particular, there was an increase in the quantity of search queries linked with education: for acquisition of a new profession, professional retraining, English courses, online courses, further qualification courses, remote higher education; in the sphere of health care - healthy food habits, partial quitting bad habits, dealing with nervous symptoms; in the sphere of economic activity: search for freelance jobs, search for grants for business activity, job change, job search for pensioners and inexperienced candidates. The obtained data can be considered for the development of recommendations and socially important programs for Crisis Management methods for the working-age population.
