Abstract
This article dwells upon the issues of social and labor relations assessment in the specific region as exemplified by the Republic of Bashkortostan. As we can see, the sphere of social and labor relations in this region and in the country as a whole is undergoing a transformation. This transformation presents a number of scientific and practical challenges. A large part ofthe social and labor relations was left out ofthe informational, analytical and administrative field due to the 2014—2015 economic crisis as well as the emergence of new technologies, tools and forms of employment and social and labor relations. The Republic ofBashkortostan serves as an example ofchanges in the structure ofemployed population based on profession and qualification, changes in the social and professional hierarchy, changes in the social security of the employed p opulation and changes in the development strategies ofSMBs. The article also considers the problems of segregation on the local labor market and deflux of the population due to migration. The author of the article is convinced that the search for a new methodological approach to study and analyze shifting social and labor relations is one of the most important scientific and administrative tasks at hand.
