Abstract
The widespread use of Telegram in Russia as a means of interpersonal communication and information platform predetermines attempts to use this resource for illegal purposes, including political ones. With the start of the special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine, there has been an intensification of recruitment and information-psychological activities of the Kyiv regime’s special services in the Russian Telegram segment. The article presents practical examples of creating extremist online communities on Telegram and proposes solutions in the field of counteraction.
