Abstract
Based on a network approach to the study of political processes, the article substantiates the need to develop a technology for public monitoring of Internet voting, which increases the effectiveness of communication between society and the state to ensure the legitimacy of elections. The author identifies the factors that have a positive and negative impact on the legitimacy of elections held on the base of Internet voting, and formulates specific requirements for public monitoring of Internet voting.
