Abstract

The article analyzes the dynamics of the political system of Turkmenistan in the course of constitutional reforms from the end of 20th century to the present time. A wide range of powers of the president is noted, which is confirmed by the provision on the impossibility of changing the model of presidentialism. The analysis shows that Turkmenistan has strengthened such a model of government as a super-presidential republic.
