Abstract
The article examines the activities of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI), an association of 13 countries from Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans actively promoted by the Polish Law and Justice Party. The study analyzes the results of the 3SI Bucharest summit, as well as the possibilities for Greece to push Russia and Turkey out of the Balkan gas market. The article points out a number of weaknesses of the Initiative. The study concludes that the prospects for the 3SI with the coming to power in Poland of the left-liberal government of Donald Tusk, oriented towards strengthening relations with France and Germany, are dim since the presidency of the Republic of Poland is held by Andrzej Duda, a Eurosceptic and ally of the PiS.
