Abstract

This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in international competition in the context of the emerging multipolar world order. The authors analyze the list of global political players with advantages in the field of AI, and address issues of sanctions pressure and technological sovereignty. The paper pays attention to the consideration of political risks of the introduction of AI technologies, including problems of user’s data privacy, information manipulation and interference of transnational corporations in political life.
