Abstract
The article considers the activity of defensive societies and organizations of South Zauralye oriented on the formation of the stable and reliable replacement of the military staff of the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War. The author considers that all liable for military service, trained in the Society of the assistance to defense, aviation and chemical construction of the USSR (Osoaviahim), were the main source of providing the front with people resources.
