Abstract

This article is devoted to the definition of the nature, content and classification of danger as a key component of the theory of national security. The authors set out a vision of transformation of dangers in the era of post-bipolar world. It is proved that the concept of danger in the theory of national security has no precise scientific definition. The authors note that danger is forming under the influence of events and processes that accompany the development of society. It is proved that such phenomena and processes objectively occur in the natural and social environment. The article attempts to identify the essential characteristics of the danger as the concept of the general theory of national security. The authors give the classification of the different types of dangerous conditions according to vertical management, to the spheres of human activity and to the source of origin.
