Abstract

This material briefly describes some of the essential characteristics of modern media sphere through the development of network communication technology. Particular attention was concentrated on the specific features of such phenomenon of modern media as new media. The development of it seems to be an advanced frontier in the development of the theory and practice of media studies. The minimal number of researching works on this theme through the moment seems to be an additional argument in favor of further research of this problem field.
