Abstract

The article explores differences between original and contemporary neoconservatives. The author claims that changing neoconservative agenda came from reinforcement of New Left activists within Democratic Party (USA). He argues that development of neoconservatism related to the group of activists of the Democratic Party, so-called Scoop Jackson Democrats. The author underlines the role of Coalition for a Democratic Majority and Committee on the Present Danger in changing the party identification of neoconservatives.
