Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of intra-elite confrontation in modern Europe and to the phenomenon of formation of the left-liberal establishment, which actually determines currently the specificity of the political, ideological and socio-economic development of the Old World. The author examines the ideological priorities of this elite community, as well as its practical activity, underscoring the offensive nature of the activity of the left-liberals in their relations with Westernconservatives. The article also explores the issues of partnership between Russia and the EU in view of the domination of the left-liberal elites in the political space of the EU. The author emphasizes that the dialogue of the conservative leadership of the Russian Federation with the left-liberal elites in Europe is complicated by the subjective ideological contradictions.
