Abstract

The article conveys results of the study of representation of Russian civil society in Russian mass-media. The study was conducted using the methods of discourse and content analysis of the lexical units, which form language images of civil society. The authors also paid attention to the role of civil society as a subject, key topics and discourse frameworks of its representation.
