Abstract
On the basis of the author's sociological study «The image of the Great Patriotic War in representations of university students of the Rostov region» the specifics of perseptions of artistic and imaginative interpretations of the events of the Great Patriotic War in the representation of modern Russian students are studied. A comparative analysis of Soviet and Russian, post-perestroika cinema in the context of their effective impact on the minds of students is shown, the degree of popularity of classic literary works devoted to the subject is determined.The tendency of «blurring» the emotional and sensual part of the cultural memory associated with the change of its broadcast channels is revealed.
