Abstract
The article analyzes the legal positions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation to determine the status of election commissions of the RF. Special attention is given to the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the RF, containing conclusions on the principles of organization and functioning, and also the order of forming of election commissions.
