Abstract
The policy of the Soviet party governance in accelerating mechanization processes in the period of collective farm system formation is revealed in the article. The main directions of activity of political departments of MTS in optimization of collective farms system functioning, in expansion of using tractors and in improvement of working conditions of machine workers are analyzed.
