Abstract
The relevance of such form of self-organization as the territorial public self-government allows predicting its further effective development. However, in the light of recent trends the risks of the territorial public self-government transformation associated with increased political engagement of territorial public self-government leaders and formation of pro-regime character of the functioning of these NGOs are clearly visible. And these tendencies reduce the level of mass confidence to them because such forms of self-organization are not perceived as appropriate to the essence of local self-government. This article is devoted the study of the validity of the reflections of the author.
