Abstract
Features of political and ideological representations in Russian society are considered in the article. Attitudebehaviorist traditions of analysis of political ideologies are the methodological basis of the research. According to the results of empirical study, most widely used and stable are such values as patriotism, social justice and human rights. The main characteristics of typological groups supporting various basic political values in the population are determined by multidimensional classification. It is concluded that current landscape of political and ideological representations predetermines directions of modernization activities in the Russian society.
