Abstract
The article analyzes the activity of China as a member of the General Assembly and the UN Security Council. Assessments of the China`s approaches to the issues reform of the organization, of the role of the Chinese side in solving international problems, and of the foreign policy of China are given. A special place in the article is given to the cooperation of China and the Russian Federation in the UN Security Council on resolution of the most acute international problems of modernity, on preventing armed conflicts, on peace-keeping and stability in regions of tension.
