Abstract
The purpose of this article is to define the possibility of establishment of the responsibility for refusal of the adopted child and some forms of such responsibility. The authors study the current legislation, the statistical data, make the review of the thematic opinions of experts. The necessity of adopting a single federal law that would regulate this sphere of public relations and envisage the responsibility of adoptive parents for returning children back to the orphanage is substantiated. In addition, various solutions of this problem are considered.
