Abstract
In the article the authors analyze the results of the multidimensional study of Russian scientific papers, which were published during the period of 2006-2010 in journals indexed by Web of Science. The authors proposed and used the methodology of definition of the scientific level, relevance and significance of the scientific papers. The most important start-points of growth of the Russia’s scientific potential in different subject areas are noted in the paper.
