The Spiritual Component of the System Crisis in the North Caucasus

The article attempts to justify the thesis that the level of the socio-economic development of the country is one of the significant factors of transition to the market economy and political democracy. However, this is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the formation and institutionalization of values, attitudes, relationships of political democracy. The author considers that the economic crisis in the republic is one of the manifestations of a more serious systemic crisis, which covers all important areas of public life. Its key component is a spiritual crisis. It is shown that the social and economic problems of the republic must be solved in close connection with the rehabilitation of civil society, which carried out the socio-cultural, political, cultural and spiritual socialization of the younger generation.
