Abstract
The new impulses in the world politics are prompting the American researcher Zbigniew Brzezinski to revise his previous views, which were sometimes rather categorical. Brzezinski is sure that Western society needs to contract a long-term strategic alliance with Russia and Turkey. Otherwise, Brzezinski predicts inevitable extinction of the West and, as a result, overall instability in the world.
