Abstract

The article considers one of urgent problems - to the problem of social adaptation of young villagers in a city. Once the industrialization of the territory started, cities became a preferable place for new life despite limited capacity of migration and adaptation. Socialization of youth in a city was accompanied with numerous complications. Unsuitable living conditions, food insecurity, laboring job used to redouble mental discomfort caused by relocation and the new way of life. In fact, it was the conflict between urban and rural culture. The author analyzes different forms of cultural and educating activities, which were to promote urban adaptation of youth and helped to develop citified behavior pattern.
