Abstract
The transnational merger of the states of BRICS, considered in the article has a geopolitical value. As a geopolitical institution it represents a new political format in development of multidimensionality of conditions of modern globalization. It is proved that the mechanism of the development of BRICS depends not only on economic interest, but also on political conditions of stability of regional interaction of the countries, entering it.
