Abstract

The author scrutinizes the situation of new social groups in Western countries. These groups are deprived strata. They are a product of pivotal changes in economic and social areas of Western societies. The crucial criterion to distinguish these groups from other social ones is a status of citizenship. The new social strata are not classes, but status groups. Their specific status exerts influence on behavior strategy which is considered to be dangerous to the opinion of Western scholars.
Keywords:
