Research of Needs and Motivations of Preparing for the Master's Degree in Management University

The article identifies the range of real needs and motives of graduates of a management university for receiving master's degree and their choice of their future educational path. The author sees the object of study and the concept of preparation of the specialists as practitioners, rather than research staff. The necessity of the continuity of the stages of higher education means that a future manager should be ready for various professional life turns. The management university education should ensure professional growth, improving competency, adaptability to new situations, a combination of strategic thinking and efficiency in carrying out their responsibilities in building a coherent system in the university activities to encourage sensible motivation to life-long learning among students and graduates.
