Abstract
The article presents a forecast of the results of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in September 2016. The author identifies peculiarities of the current election campaign, analyzes the chances of the main political parties of Russia to clear the 5 percent barrier for entry to the main legislative body of our country. A particular attention is drawn to possible changes relation of forces of the core Russian parliamentary parties in the 7th State Duma of the Russian Federation.
