Turkish Stream as the Element of the Political Crisis in Macedonia

Throughout modern history, the leadership of Macedonia was trying to resolve its problems. However, in the spring of 2015 the republic was plunged into another political crisis. By the time, it coincided with the discussion on the organization of the international project of Turkish stream, a kind of oil corridor on the bottom of the Black sea from Russia to Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and further to Europe. Macedonian political crisis had all conditions to transform into color revolution in 2015. Russian assessments of the current situation as attempts to organize in Macedonia something similar to coups d'état in Ukraine and Yemen are indicative. However, as the article says, the habitual scenario was changed. The power remained in the hands of the ruling elite in response to the refusal to participate in the «Turkish flow» international project.
