Abstract
Language is universal means of human communication. It has an expressive structure that emotionally influences people. The article evaluates aesthetic aspects of language from ancient philosophers to philosophical and linguistic theories of the 20th century. The focus of the article is on further development of the theories of B. Croce and K. Vossler. These theories are used as a base to create the modern concept of aesthetic aspects of language. The main purpose of the article is to expose the potential of beauty in languages. The article enables readers to fully understand the aesthetics method and apply it to their native language and foreign languages. The study offers new methods of the language's positive influence on human mentality.
