Abstract
The article reveals the sources of opposition of realism and nominalism, their role and value in practices of modern globalization. Nominalism tears off the names of things from their ontological bases and approves that human will and consciousness are primary ones. It is the cause of subjectivity and leads to the total conflict of interpretations. The purpose of realism is to overtake the ontological essence of things. The article shows that the rate on nominalism in modern globalization leads to total manipulation avoiding reality. The answer to this threat should be a turn in the practices of globalization to realism.
