Abstract
The article substantiates the idea of a fundamental difference between classical liberal theory and postclassical liberalism. The essence of this difference is the refusal to separate the poles of the sacred and profane, which entails fundamental consequences: the rejection of the idea of history and the Modern project as a whole, and, ultimately, the loss of nature of ideology and the ability to fulfill its functions by liberalism.
