Abstract

The article is devoted to the sociological analysis of social factors of migrants’ adaptation in modern researches of foreign scientists in the USA and the EU. The article discusses the positive and negative experience of the EU and the US in this area, based on the main factors of migrants’ adaptation. The author concludes that the formation of positive migrants’ adaptation in the host society of the United States and EU countries, and the development of effective integration policy for them takes place at the local (municipal, regional) level. This situation deserves attention in the development of an effective integration policy in Russia at the present stage.
