Abstract

One of the points of tension in the ethno-contact situation in the Republic of Dagestan today is connected with reconstruction of the Aukh District. The matter is that different Dagestan ethnoses found themselves in controversial positions on the territorial issue. The article on the base of sociological interviewing identifies the reasons of deterioration in the inter-ethnic and intra-confessional relations and suggests the possible version of the solution to an old problem.
