Abstract
Current globalization is a dynamic and contradictory process burdened with permanent and unintended changes and consequences. The article analyzes the challenges of the new phase of it, including the relationships between its endogenous and exogenous trends, hybridization processes, creation and devising of transnational socio-biotechnical systems, and conversion of the individuals into the sociotechnical hybrids.
