Abstract

The article deals with the issues of electoral behavior of an individual in the party space. The author gives an analytical justification for measuring the volume of electoral activity of voters depending on the motivation for political participation, and gives the formulas for calculating the coefficients of political activity to study the possible reaction of voters to certain changes in the electoral process. The observed trend towards a change in the number of party members depends on the election period. In addition, the article presents the factors of elasticity of the party space: the time of the election campaigns, the presence of party substitutes and other factors. The author argues that the assessment of flexibility can be explained by voting behavior in elections.
Keywords:
electoral behavior; political participation; party demand; coefficient of political elasticity
